And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Welcome to the INWARD Ministry of Rio Vista Church! Looking INWARD is seeking to understand who you are in relationship to God. This is done through spiritual training with disciplines like Bible reading, personal study, prayer and meditation. As you grow in your relationship with God, and as you seek to understand His call on your life, we pray that you would find an opportunity to use your gifts in ministry with the INWARD Team.

Goal and Strategy

Our GOAL is that every person would be growing in his/her love for God and love for people.
Our STRATEGY for accomplishing this goal is through the following five objectives:

OBJECTIVE #1: A Hunger for Truth.
To provide resources and structure so that every believer at RVCC takes ownership of a consistent, structured devotional life which includes disciplines like Scripture reading and memorization, prayer and meditation.

OBJECTIVE #2: A Common Purpose.
To design a church-wide curriculum which draws us all together in the learning and growth process and unifies us around a common vision of Upward, Inward and Outward.

OBJECTIVE #3: Meaningful Community.
To create sub-communities within RVCC that grow, worship, and serve together.

OBJECTIVE #4: A Leadership Culture.
To identify and train those who are called and gifted to be leaders.

OBJECTIVE #5: A “Third Place.”
To provide an exceptional gathering place conducive to study, conversation, and meditation.
