Rio Vista Community Church

Both the bible and our own life experiences make it clear that heaven is not earth and earth is not heaven. More than that, both scripture and life teach us that, no matter how hard we try, or how much we acquire or achieve, we cannot bring heaven to earth. We cannot connect the two. Unless God does something, we'll never see heaven. However, the good news of this series and of this message is that God has done something.

This series has the stated goal of revealing how the scriptures holds forth Jesus as the One (and the only One) who unites heaven and earth. He alone brings the two together and he does it directly through his person and work, and he does it also by his Spirit, through people like you.
