The Psalms probe the heights and depths of the human experience, with all of the attending emotions. Moreover, they hold before us the example of those who faced both the highs and lows of life in faith. Psalm 3 was written during one of the lowest and most despairing moments in the life of David and yet his faith and confidence in the Lord rings through. However, David made it clear that this song that we know as "Psalm 3" isn't intended to simply be the song of David. It was intended also to be my song and your song. Enjoy.
