Psalm 4 is written by King David in the midst of a draught. It contains the plea of this great king to his God for rain. Although draughts don't scare us quite as much today as they did in David's day (we're not worried about starvation and death), other kinds of draughts do (i.e., financial draughts, relational draughts, etc.). Psalm 4 tells us how to deal with the draughts of life. It teaches us to trust in our Great King, King Jesus.
