This is the wrap-up to the "Image" series in which we've been looking for the pattern of the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus in the lives and stories of other characters in the Bible. We've seen how that pattern shows up over and over again in the Old Testament, constantly pointing forward to the One Who would live, die, be buried, but then rise again on the third day. But this message looks for this pattern in the life of the Apostle Paul, long after the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus has occurred. In other words, it doesn't point forward, it points backward. The idea being, that if this pattern shows up in the lives of Christians after Easter, then it's legitimate to assume that will show up also in my life and in yours! That's important, because it tells you what you can expect (at least in a general sense) in life. It also tells you that all that happens in your life will ultimately be redeemed.
